DKIM 2048-bit key
For years, the standard key length was 1024-bit DKIM keys, but new methods to break DKIM keys are constantly emerging. As a result, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) recommends 2048-bit keys. DKIM 2048 has a longer key length, which makes signature encryption much more secure, providing a stronger defence against email spoofing and signature forgery. It also improves email deliverability.
FORM starts generating the DKIM with 2048-bit keys at the customer's request, as they can pass their security compliance when setting up the custom domain.
All Form system emails have already been signed up with the updated DKIM 2048-bit keys.
How to update the DKIM?
You can request the feature from your account manager (it’s free) and arrange the date and time to activate it.
Once you get the confirmation, remove the registered email domain, and then add the same domain as instructed in the Registering Email Domain article.
Ask your system/network admin to add DKIM and SPF records to your domain's DNS settings.
